This presentation will discuss those evidenced based, State-of the-Art strategies that have been proven effective when working with a person with a special need and in particular those with an Autism Spectrum Condition.

It will focus on teaching specific skills, developing reinforcement systems to enhance motivation, and the concepts of maintenance and generalization.

A step by step demonstration will be presented using real life examples. Modifications will be explored that allow these particular strategies to be effective with students significantly challenged, as well as those students that are more able.

Because of the nature of this presentation, a question and answer period will be provided.
