Jennifer Amoroso, Director of Special Education

Since becoming a member of the Durand School, I have had the opportunity to work with many of the students and their families, and it is truly a privilege.  My goal is to continue to cultivate relationships and foster connections with my students and their families to anchor my role as an educator.  Knowing that every student at Durand is someone’s son or daughter, I know that parents have entrusted me to develop and oversee programs to support the development of their child’s full potential.  I have dedicated my career to helping support all students and educators to reach their fullest potential.  One of my favorite quotes is, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is not educating at all” (Aristotle).  I truly believe this is the common thread that makes the Durand School so special.
