Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Position Summary:
Assesses and analyzes consumer behaviors. Writes behavioral programs and Functional Behavioral Assessments with documentation requirements, and prepares summaries, graphs and progress notes applicable to the behavioral programs. Writes skill acquisition programs that use personal outcome methodologies. Supports the program managers and direct care employees through training, modeling, and mentoring of behavior and skill acquisition programming.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conducts initial behavioral and functional assessments within 30 days of admission ensuring quality in services and supports when deemed necessary.
• Meets with the student(s) and conducts assessment through interview and observation;
• Meets with the case managers, the family, and other stakeholders reviewing historical data, medical history and other information ensuring a complete and accurate assessment prior to new services;
• Writes a behavioral and functional assessment within 30 days of admissions when deemed necessary;
• submits the behavioral and functional assessment to the clinical director within two days of completion.
2. Develops and writes behavioral treatment plans and skill acquisition programs, including documentation requirements, supporting the behavioral assessment and incorporating personal outcome methodologies.
• Submits behavioral treatment plans and skill acquisition programs to the clinical director for review and approval;
• Modifies and revises treatment plans and skill acquisition programs responding to data, environmental changes or other variables;
• Makes revisions/additions as recommended by the clinical director within two (2) weeks and submits for final approval;
• Submits the behavioral treatment plans and skill acquisition programs to the support coordinator
within thirty (30) days of admission for new consumers and according to established timelines thereafter;
• Develops and maintains a tracking system for recipient characteristics.
3. Collects and reviews documentation ensuring integrity of programs and accuracy for billing.
• Collects documentation summaries, graphs, and progress notes weekly; graphs bi-weekly or as needed
• Supervises staff to ensure implementation of the program and Behavior Support Plan is accurate.
4. Assures quality of behavioral programming and skill acquisition programs through training, on site reviews, and competency checks ensuring consistent implementation by the program manager and all the direct support professionals.
• Meets with and trains program managers on behavioral programs and skill acquisition programs within one week of development or revisions;
• Analyses behavioral programming weekly by observing consumers, and reviewing/validating data;
• Prepares documentation summaries, graphs, and progress notes and submits to the clinical director semi monthly or more often as required;
• Provides feedback to staff in regards to behavioral programming;
• Conducts semi-monthly site meetings including training on programs, data sheets, contracts, and skill acquisition programs. Conducts competency checks (behavioral terms, Tools for Positive Living )and conducts SAF-MEDS drills.
5. Analyzes Accident/Incident reports ensuring prompt response and action in order to eliminate or minimize future risk to the consumers.
• Reviews the report ensuring accuracy and understandability of information;
• Submits the report to the clinical director, support coordinator and/or agency staff within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt;
• Collaborates with the program manager and determines corrective course of action.
6. Maintains a professional demeanor by observing standards of conduct and integrity in the workplace, by working cooperatively with team members thereby ensuring a respectful work place and effective teamwork.
• Communicates professionally with outside agencies; seeks involvement in outside professional associations;
• Incorporates customer service standards with interacting with district, neighbors, and families;
• Meets with the clinical director weekly.
*Participates in licensing audits.
*Accompanies consumers to doctor appointments
7. Assist in observations of staff and students; Assist principal in the annual evaluation process.
-Cooperates with staff from DOE and Durand internal personnel in any inspections, inquiry, or investigations
-Performs other responsibilities as assigned by school or agency administration.
Qualifications:
-Certified Behavior Analyst.
-Two years experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities/Autism.
-Must have strong written and oral communication skills, ability to develop and maintain professional relationships, ability to work independently with minimal instruction, ability to practice team based management, ability to balance requirements of multiple and varied duties, and ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
Fleet & Property Maintenance Technician
This is a 40 hour a week position. Hours and days may vary, you will be on call as needed. Full benefits package.
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the technician is responsible for keeping corrective maintenance activities for the Group Homes and ATS Programs
Requirements:
-Surveys working locations, making note of fleet and facility items in need of repair or replacement during daily routine and reports to Maintenance Manager.
-Performs fleeting duties of transport, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance checks as needed on a regular basis with follow up.
-Performs all duties of a project nature as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
-Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and shops.
-Reports all work and supplies in a complete and concise manner.
-Assists in performing seasonal activities and services such as needed.
-Maintains in good working order all equipment available and utilized.
-Will work in conjunction with and assist with facility maintenance when needed.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED required. Trade School graduate a plus.
-2 or more years of general maintenance experience required.
-Able to Lift and Carry 50+ pounds.
-Ability to use maintenance equipment as needed.
-A valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
-Good interpersonal and communications skills required in order to properly carry out duties and responsibilities.
-Must be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize, schedule, perform and/or supervise multiple
projects.
