Operating weekdays, year round, from 3 convenient locations, individuals are supported in developing both pre-vocational and independent life skills.  Enhancing communication skills and social skills is key to this endeavor.  Our goal is to increase every individual’s ability to live more independently, and active involvement in the surrounding community, including participating in volunteer and pre-vocational activities, is our template for their achievements.

While learning most often takes place in small group activities, our service are highly individualized to each person’s needs and desires. We work closely with families and Support Coordinators to continuously assess each individual’s progress and personal goals to establish services that achieve the desired outcomes.

Concentrating upon the needs of individuals on the autism spectrum and those experiencing behavioral challenges, Durand’s Day Services recognizes the need for including diversity and fun in our daily activities.  We want our services to be highly rewarding for all involved.  We believe that people learn best when they are happy and appreciated by others.

Durand’s Day Services are certified by the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities and is a recognized Provider under the NJ Medicaid Program.
